Appellation
Côtes de Bourg
A terroir overlooking the Gironde estuary
At the heart of the Côtes de Bourg, around the XIIth century fortress and on the top of the cliffs overlooking the Gironde estuary, the vineyards of the Château de Thau are situated on an exceptional terroir that produces fine wines characterised by notes of blackcurrant and spices.
The Roc (Rock) de Thau used to overlook the Gironde estuary.
The Château Roc de Thau is deeply rooted in the regions history and pay's tribute to those who have worked the vineyards here for centuries.
